After formal vocational training as a management assistant in shipping (Speditionskaufmann), Mr. von Herff worked for several years in various sectors of logistics. He then studied business administration, focusing his interests on controlling, accounting, and auditing, after which he joined the auditing division of one of the Big Four accounting firms. Mr. von Herff has been with Sonnemann & Partner since July 2000, working first in the fields of auditing and preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code and with IFRS/IAS. Starting at the beginning of 2004, Mr. von Herff assumed responsibility for our corporate consulting department, focusing his activities on corporate analysis, corporate planning, and structuring management information systems. In addition, he assists mid-sized clients with outsourcing matters and offers individual training and coaching in the fields of accounting and controlling.
